Looking for Below Knee Boardshorts website or shop?

Post by Toby »

Anybody know a good UK website or shop (ideally south east) that stocks Below Knee board shorts this time of year? Gearing up for a kite trip next month and really need a viable solution to stop my knees being incinerated on the water... Ta

How far below the knee are you going???

Be really careful as you could end up wearing a pair of these!!!!

HA!

Yes. Despite looking a bit try hard thats not far off what I'm looking for. Last time i went away kiting I got so badly burned on my knees it kind of ruined the trip (serious pain every time i was off the water). Factor 50 all day long just isn't enough when your wet board shorts are flapping against your knees rubbing it off...

I could go the other way and get some speedos and that white stuff cricketers put on there noses?

+1 for Riemann P20 SPF50. Apply 15mins before going out in the sun and your good for 8hrs+ on the water. Never been burnt with that stuff on.

I have, in Barbados. Really surprised me, never been burnt with any of the P20 stuff.

Still use it as it's pretty damn good, some times the sand can rub it off. but just reapply and you're good

As a blond/light ginger I use this stuff. It is as good as P20 with the added benefit of not burning your eyes out when it washes into your face!

Yeh, good point. P20 does try to burn your eyes out, no matter how long it's been on. Aloe vera is one I forgot about. I had some on my 1st trip to Mauritius & didn't burn
