Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

One of my experiences of learning hydrofoiling has been getting my lines wrapped about the hydrofoil. In this situation the safety is totally useless and is one of the reasons why I dont intend on hydrofoiling in strong winds! My solution to this was to basically totally release from the bar and then go to the windward side of the board and use one of the steering lines to flag out the kite and then swim to the kite and float back into the shallows. Does anyone have experience of this and a better solution? I would say you should 100% have a safety knife on you for hydrofoiling.
