John I will be down late on Thursday, I may have room in my van for a couple of boxes of Walney wind :-)
Doesn't look too bad though, you never can tell until last minute.

Hello from Sunny Hunny!

The sun is shining thius morning but no wind yet!

Plenty going on down here, skate ramps, climbing walls, Deadman clothing are out in force as well as all the usual BKSA suspects!

First time I've been here, looks like a great venue, the tide is dropping back revealing huge lagoons, but where are the waves

Lewis has been busy with the local media!

as for the rest of the riders.....

If you ain't busy this weekend, try and get over, chance of some wind in the next few days as well!

More updates thru the weekend!!

Cheers

I think you can ride the lagoon at low tide but I guess it will be gusty!

Someone who knows the area better may be able to give more info

yep gusty and off shore on SE, S is ok E is worst, I cant afford to compete this time so am going to a beach where it will be cross/cross on shore, flat water and lovely, then head home for a shower and then go to the party at hunny!

Riders breifing went off at 9:30, good turn out for the weekend!

Got a few showers at the moment, wind is offshore and high tide, the wind is looking like going southerly as we go towards low tide, so it's a case of wait and see. There will be some riding at some point, somewhere!

Last night was crazy busy down here, don't know where all the poeple came from! Tonight looks like being even busier as "higher profile" bands are on the bill

Some skate action during the day with the mini skate park open to all riders, got some good shots of the a few of the pro' guys yesterday, will try and get a few online later.
We also nhad someone take a trip down the beach on a SUP, some bald geezer apparently

Hunny goes CRAZY!

fantastic day, wind started to kick in around 1'ish, by 3 it was averaging 13 knots, shortly after we had up to 25 knots!

Managed to get halfway through the comp, hoping to finish it tomorrow!

The sun is still shining, the barby is on, music is in the air and I'm wrecked

Pics later if I get round to it
