I decided to remove my above post in the interest of all concerned and the sport in general. A point was made and duly noted so i have instead accepted Richards invitation to email my concerns direct to him...........and no im not posting it on here  :-)

I have next to no chance of getting a tie/tux thing. Will I have to fight the bouncers to get in? :-)

Can someone seriously confirm the dress code for the presentation? the term "black tie" could lead to some interesting combinations. Is it black tie and whatever else you feel like? What about Ladies dress code?

I plan on coming and watching, assume it will be OK to ride a bit as well given I wont be winning anything! assume beach in Hove will be open as usual.

Saturday night (or any other time over the 4 days for that matter) is NOT a strict black tie dress code.
But please do make more of an effort than jeans and a t-shirt.
The Funky Fish Club has no dress code either, but we are talking about a Saturday night out in glamorous Brighton...

Yes, beach at Hove will be open as normal, but I think there's a half marathon going on up that end of town one day.
But Sunday we have a bunch of fun comps planned, and they are open to all.
See 'Event Program' on website for more details http://www.beachblast.co.uk

Good news is that we will not be short on wind.

Mmmm, Saturday night out in glamorous Brighton let me think!!!! Tight leather pants, string vest and a bikers leather cap, that should do it.
