Dan (g0nz0) and I went to Sri Lanka in May for 8 days on a coaching clinic with Christian and Karine. We both learnt lots. There's not much of Dan in the vid as he was landing an S bend to blind on our fourth day and pinched his meniscus (oo-er). Which is why there is a little bit of strapless action of Dan, too. Filmed on a little compact camera, so nothing fancy, but gives you an idea of what Sri Lanka is like. Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah it was, for kiting. Wind blew day and night, never dropping below 15 knots. It was so nice to go away and not worry about whether it was going to be windy tomorrow or not. There's this lagoon, a narrow sandy beach and the ocean, which was also kiteable, if a bit mushy.

Living conditions were a bit basic, no shops/restaurants/hot water or air conditioning. Limited food choices! But the travelling was hassle free (Sri Lanka Airlines were good) and the peace of mind re wind more than made up for animals in the bed!
