Where to holiday in November?

Shoot the breeze and stay in the loop with the unhinged and unhooked word on the street.

Ideas of where to head in November please? Where's good to take my girlfriend for a week? She wants to learn and I wouldn't mind a lesson or 2 for some tips.

Got some prices for El Gouna but open to other suggestions.

Main criteria is decent wind in the first half of November.

Cheers :)

I'm off to El Gouna in November, for the third time specifically at El Gouna. One of the most secure areas in Egypt, and with loads of kiting available. Well recommended. I'll be down at Kitepeople.at at the Movenpick. So much quieter here (in terms of Kiting) and a great place to learn, with lagoon and deep watter all easy to get to (and the outer lagoon is great too).

November is Cape Town's windiest month (more kiteable days than January!). Nice and sunny. Enough people to be fun but not so many that the most popular spots are crowded. Our room rates are lower in November - early December. Flights are less. Car rental is less. Come for a longer stay and we will do you a discount on top of our lower rates. We also do a special deal for British Kitesports members.

Not affiliated with, am just a happy customer. Went to Brazil with them last year, and if it wasn't for a torn ACL I'd be booked on this already....

So, where have you decided to head phil5556? Any good deal's out there that you looked at/found? As I said, I'll be in El Gouna at the Movenpick from the start of November until the 20th.

I forgot I posted this and have only just seen the replies, sorry..... Thanks though!

We went to El Gouna in the end, had an absolute blast :) Stayed in the Ali Pasha hotel at Abu Tig marina and went to Element kite centre.

Got really lucky with the wind, first afternoon it dropped off and then didn't stop for the rest of the week.

Glad to read you've had a great time. I'll keep that place in mind for next time.
